Doireann Ní Ghríofa, ‘In Albumen, In Pixels, in Bricks’

Poet Doireann Ní Ghríofa describes the evolution of her poem ‘In Albumen, In Pixels, in Bricks’ in an interview with Dr Adam Hanna of the School of English, University College Cork. Recorded on 8 October 2018.

They discuss, among other things, homelessness around Christmas, oocytes, ‘choreographing the reader’s breath’, the structure of eggs, poetic form, threads, layers of skin and Dr Seuss.
